Our Huron-Perth IICY project is currently working to enroll network member agencies (inter-sectoral) in the adoption and use of Greenspace. Greenspace is an IT platform for addiction and mental health programs, designed to enable outcome evaluations, evidence-based planning, and collaborative care through inter-departmental or inter-agency client-information-sharing. At the time of writing this document, we are still actively recruiting local agencies to the platform.
While evidence tracking is an important feature, we are engaging in the initiative primarily to support less segregated and more collaborative care. This initiative is intended to primarily address the fact that siloed client information is a significant systemic barrier to client-centered collaborative care. We hope to be among the first jurisdictions to implement a common platform across sectors (i.e., government, institutional, and community) in addiction and mental health services for youth.
