Toronto Rehab and Canadian Paraplegic Association (CPA) Ontario have partnered to develop and operate the SCI Resource Centre for current and past patients and families. This partnership links information and resources through a sustainable partnership model that includes shared participation in daily operations, leadership, and governance. Two different surveys were completed in 2006 to identify the educational needs of both people with spinal cord injuries, and medical and community service professionals. Visitors use the on-site SCI Resource Centre to conduct independent research, access social networking sites, attend educational workshops, and connect with peers.
