Scope:The Leadership for Health Services Standard aims to provide an updated approach to leadership and management responsibilities in health and social services organizations to enable the delivery of safe and quality care.
Project Need: Leadership plays a fundamental role in driving excellence in healthcare and social services, and in influencing organizational culture. The purpose of this proposed standard is to examine the present-day leadership needs and priorities of health and social services organizations. HSO aims to develop standards that are relevant, and based on updated evidence and best practices to best guide leaders in advancing the delivery of high quality care services within their unique contexts.
